TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR QUOTATIONS
1. Equipment and accessories are guaranteed only to the extent of the original manufacturer’s guarantee. The manufacturer guarantees equipment against defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from ship date. However, this warranty is limited to furnishing or repairing without charge, FOB their plant, any item actually found defective. Neither the manufacturer nor we shall be liable for damages or delays caused by defective material. Neither the manufacturer nor we shall be liable for any labor charges for replacing defective materials.
2. Warranty shall not cover normal wear & tear, abuse or neglect.
3. Burford recommended maintenance programs must be adhered to.
4. All equipment is sold FOB factory. If freight prices are quoted, they are based on present rates quoted to us, which are subject to rate change in effect at the time of shipment.
5. Stenographic and clerical errors are subject to correction.
6. Shipping dates are subject to change due to conditions beyond our control.
7. No agreements or sales are binding until accepted in writing by us.
8. Cancellation or suspension will not be binding unless accepted by us in writing on terms that will indemnify us against all loss.
9. This quotation is firm for only 30 days from the date it bears unless advised otherwise.
10. Possession of goods by you is not to be considered evidence of ownership. It is agreed that the title to all goods belongs to Burford Corp. until paid in full.
11. It is necessary to get written authority before returning merchandise.
12. In the event this proposal becomes a sale; you shall assume all Federal, State or Local Taxes resulting from this sale.
13. We are not responsible for goods lost, damaged or delayed in transit. A bill of lading for equipment shipped in good order releases us from future responsibility.
